I'm collecting a wishlist of scientific and python related packages (numpy, scipy, etc) people would want installed on a Debian based Amazon EC2 machine image (AMI) for distributed computing. I'll make more information available as the machine image develops, some of these will also go into the Machetec2 AMI.
