scipy.linalg.lapack.dpocon(a, anorm, uplo='U') = <flapack function dpocon>

Estimate the reciprocal condition number of a positive definite matrix from its Cholesky factorization (LAPACK dpocon).

Parameters:

andarray

Cholesky factorization of a positive definite matrix, as returned by potrf.

anormfloat

1-norm of the original matrix, which equals its infinity norm here.

uplostr, optional

'U' if a holds the upper triangular factor, 'L' if lower. Default is 'U'. The rest of this group uses lower instead.

Returns:

rcondfloat

Estimate of the reciprocal condition number.

infoint

0 on success; if negative, the -info-th argument had an illegal value.
